1. Online training on Covid-19 organized by iGOT DIKSHA, MHRD. (April-June 2020)

To equip larger force to fight against COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of India launched a
training module for management of COVID-19 ‘Integrated Government Online Training’ (iGOT) portal on Ministry of HRD’s DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) platform. For capacity building the training modules were launched for doctors, nurses, State government officials, NSS, Scouts and NCC. The training contents of the course were assigned by NCC unit for cadets and ANOs.
Lt. Namrata Rai(ANO) has completed 10 training contents prescribed by the NCC unit office and ten
cadets have completed 2 training contents prescribed for them.

The prescribed training contents included: Basics of Covid-19, Covid-19 training for NCC
cadets, Clinical Management, ICU care management, Infection prevention and care, Usage of PPE,
Quarantine and Isolation, Management of Covid-19 cases, Laboratory sample collection and testing,
Psychological care of patients etc.

2. 6 th International Yoga Day (21/06/2020) (YOGA FROM HOME) :

In the light of prevailing Covid-19 situation, ‘Yoga from Home’ was encouraged. Cadets
participated individually or with their family members from the safety of their homes. Cadets followed common yoga protocol and as advised uploaded their videos on social media with #CYP2020_NCC. Total 9 cadets and 1 ANO performed yoga and uploaded their videos on social media Kurseong College NCC facebook page.

3. EBSB Saptah Camp ( Ek Bharat Shreestha Bharat Camp) 06/07/2020-11/07/2020

The first ever online camp EBSB Saptah was organized by DG NCC from 6 th July 2020 to 11 th
July 2020 through online platform CISCO Webex . Cadet Pritika Pradhan and Cadet Ankita Rai participated in this camp. Cdt. Pritika was nominated for Group Discussion competition with cadets form Gujurat Directorate and Cdt. Ankita Rai was nominated for cultural dance. ANO, Lt. Namrata Rai also participated and gave online presentation on “Geography of Darjeeling and Sikkim’.

4. Tree Plantation Pakhwada (July 2020)

The tree plantation activity was undertaken by cadets and ANO by planting one minimum sapling under own arrangement at or around their homes. Protocols related with social distancing and wearing of face masks was followed. The awareness among masses on tree plantation was done through posting pictures on social media.

5. NCC online class: (w.e.f 14/07/2020 – ongoing)

With reference to the GP HQ letter No 101802/X/G dated 09/07/2020 and as per the instruction from 4 Bengal Girls BN NCC unit office regarding online conduct of NCC institutional training by ANOs, the online classes for NCC has started from 14/07/2020. The online platform for NCC institutional training is CISCO Webex. The classes are conducted 1 hour /day for 3 days in a week.
